After a good turnout from our Spring Show, ASUCI looked to Hip Hop Congress to start off the school year strong. That’s why the HHC committee decided to kick things off right by bringing emcees Speak and Pheo to perform at the Anteater Involvement Fair aka Welcome Week. The reason we decided to bring back the entertaining duo for an encore performance is because of their high energy and ability to rock the crowd. Speak is the funniest act I’ve ever seen live and Pheo carries unquestionable swagger. The two combined will have the opening set of Welcome Week to combine their humor and talent to start the school year with a bang. ASUCI also asked us to DJ the whole set on Monday of Welcome Week, so we decided to bring in the very talented DJ Geo-D, of Crew Royale, to spin for us. Here is what to expect Monday, September 21st at 11am sharp (note Speak’s ponytail LOL).
