what the fuck

Here is the description for the Stimulus Package for the uci elections. Read it in all its bullshit.

"Do you approve an increase to the Associated Students fee by $15 per student per quarter and the creation of a $10 per student per quarter Student Activities fee effective Fall Quarter 2009 to support programming, student organizations and services?

33% of the Associated Student fee increase and 33% of the entirety of the Student Activities Fee will return to UC Irvine to help meet the financial aid needs of undergraduate students.
After return to aid, 20% of the Student Activities fee will be used to fund Greek Education & Leadership, 20% will be used to fund the Multicultural Programs Committee, 30% will be used to fund Student Media and 10% will be used to fund Campus Organizations Support, Community Engagement Activities and LGBT Support respectively.
Neither fee will be assessed during the summer sessions.
If this referendum is approved and implemented, the Associated Student fee would be $33 per student per quarter effective Fall Quarter 2009.
The UCI Stimulus Package fee will be increased annually based on the California Consumer Price Index (CPI) starting in Fall 2010."

Why does the Greek system need more money? If they can sponsor buses to their events, flyer on ring road, charge hundreds of dollars for dues then why do they get 20 percent of the package? I understand that philanthropy is important but there are other focus caused campus organizations. So why then would they receive 20 and "campus organizations receive 10?" UCI's majority are not affiliated so why do they get one of the largest chunks. go away stimulus package
